Credit Card and Banking Information

We process all website payments via a secure third party payment gateway and therefore do not store customer credit card details. Returns & Dispute Resolution Policy

We understand that sometimes you may need to return a product you have purchased online and to assist you, we have set out below our Policy highlighting key points that you should know. Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under Australian and New Zealand Consumer Law and other relevant laws.

  1. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. 

  2. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

  3. Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, Hearne Software is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy.

  4. Your rights under the Australian and New Zealand Consumer Laws are not limited by a defined time. However, those laws recognise that the relevant time period can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. Hearne Software adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary depending on how long it takes you to return the product to us.

  5. You are not entitled to a refund if; you decide you don’t want the goods, you find the same thing cheaper elsewhere or you bought something for someone and they don’t like or already have it.


Cancellations Policy

Cancelling an Order

You may request cancellation of your order (whether it is accepted by us or not) by; contacting either our Australian or New Zealand offices by phone. Cancellation of orders within 12 hours of placement are generally accepted and fully refunded, however cancellations more than 12 hours after placement are treated on a case by case basis, and although you may receive a refund we reserve the right to charge an administration fee to cover our reasonable costs in respect of your cancelled order.
