When I try to open the zip file, it says I need to buy Winzip?

All current versions of Windows and Mac OSX have the capability to open zip files by default. We do not require users to install any specific unzipping software. However, if Winzip is installed it can interfere with the Windows’ native unzipping functionality. In this case, you can choose to either:

• Click ‘Use Evaluation version’ (if applicable) and use Winzip for free

• Uninstall Winzip and revert to Windows native functionality

• Purchase a Winzip license (not required for SPSS but customer’s choice)
